Radial Gradient
Animated sweep reveals color shift at off-center angles. Colors should stay vivid as you tilt.
Contrast Grid
High-contrast checker shows if dark areas wash out or bright areas bloom at wide angles.
Color Wheel
Pure hues should stay accurate. Hue shift at angles is a sign of a TN or low-quality VA panel.
Near-Black
Dark room test. All strips should stay visible. Crushed blacks at angles mean poor uniformity.

Panel types compared
IPS: best viewing angles. Colors stay accurate up to 178 degrees. Slight glow at extreme angles.
VA: decent angles but blacks crush and colors shift noticeably past 45 degrees.
TN: worst viewing angles. Colors invert or wash out even at small tilts. Cheap panels only.
