How to Fix ViewSonic Monitor No Signal Error

The No Signal error on ViewSonic monitor means that your monitor is not receiving video signal from your computer.

To fix it, power cycle your monitor. This will most probably resolve the issue.

First ensure that the correct input source is selected in the monitor settings.

If power cycling doesn’t work, factory reset your ViewSonic monitor.

Connect your computer or laptop to another monitor if available. If the problem persists on the other monitor as well, the issue is with your PC.

Check Input Source

Most latest ViewSonic monitors come with multiple ports such as HDMI, DisplayPort, and USB-C.

Make sure that the correct port is selected as the input source.

For example, if you have connected your PC or laptop through HDMI or DisplayPort to your ViewSonic Monitor, you must select the respective option as the input source setting.

To access the Input Source setting on your ViewSonic Monitor, press the Menu button on the monitor and then select the Input Select option.

Select your HDMI or DisplayPort (whichever video cable you are using). See the screenshot below:

The interface of your ViewSonic monitor OSD may vary slightly depending upon the monitor model. However, you will find Input Select option as soon as you open the OSD menu.

If the correct input source is selected and no signal problem persists, then try the quick fix explained below.
